Fragile

The human mind is a powerful thing in many ways, but in others it’s endlessly fragile. It takes only a single moment of pure terror to tear a hole in it, like a finger through a cobweb, leaving you forever just a shadow, half a person.
— Alexander Gordon Smith

This series was inspired by an old book that I was gifted many years ago. At the time, one handle to book with extreme care as it was weak from years of being used. Now the binding is almost completely separated from the signatures, with a few binding threads barely able to keep everything together. The pages are not much better, many of them are brittle, torn or stuck together.

In many ways this is old book is the manifestation of how I view my inner turmoil: one fall from completely coming apart.
